Horrible experience with the delivery and customer service. Half of the bed was missing at delivery and their only option was to leave the bed half way put together and wait 5 days for the missing pieces. Not other options offered.

Extended Warranty

City Furniture - Extended Warranty
My sofa is only two years old and is ripping at the seams. City Furniture will not honor the extended warranty I purchased. They are calling it regular wear and tear and customer abuse. I call it poor workmanship and poor quality.

Boca Raton Location: After signing to finance a sleeper sectional that was promised to come with a mattress (a very important topic discussed during my sale), delivery day came with NO MATTRESS. City furniture told me they could not help me, they made an honest mistake and I had to spend $150 more dollars to get one.

WHO BUYS A SLEEPER SOFA WITHOUT A MATTRESS?? I would not have chose this set without a mattress!!! I financed almost $4000 and they scammed me and I'm locked in without all the pieces promised. Terrible customer service, LIARS, frauds and I will continue to tell this story and NEVER purchase from them again!!!

Awful business, be warned. Don't be stupid and buy from them.

The stories are very true, they are a disgrace! Wish I could give ZERO STARS!!!

I was charged $277.98 for a 3 year warranty I did not authorize. I DO NOT want the warranty.

I spoke with Chrisi Berg, the customer service representative with whom I placed my order. She assured me on 12/28 that the charge and warranty was reversed, but would take a few days to show up on my statement. Well, it's been over a week and no sign of that $277.98 being returned to me. I have sent emails to both the icloud email and the city-furniture email for Chrisi, to inquire about those charges but have not heard back from her since 12/29.

When I was placing the order by phone, I was not told that there was a charge for the warranty, nor did I ask for a warranty. The only items I ordered were the actual, tangible items for my bedroom. I absolutely DO NOT WANT the warranty and insist that the $277.98 (the cost for the 3 year warranty) be refunded to me immediately. After looking through customer complaints on the BBB website regarding City Furniture, I can see that the warranty is a scam.

I feel that your sales representatives are making some kind of commission on the warranty, which is why it feels as though it was really easy to get charged for this warranty, but a real *** to have removed. I am a busy person and feel that furniture shopping should NOT be stressful and I should not feel fleeced by the furniture company. I have an entire home to furnish, I only ordered items for one of three bedrooms. I was planning on doing all my shopping through City, since your prices in general are fair, and you have shops located in The Villages, but this headache with the extra charges are steering me to another furniture store.

I am very leery of doing business with a company who is out to rip off the consumer. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Still can not get it right

I will never step foot in another City Furniture in my life. Simply ordered a dresser for my mother in law.

First delivery was made and discovered it was the wrong dresser. Contacted customer service and definitely expressed my unhappiness. Denied compensation and denied refund. Contacted store and new delivery was scheduled.

Supposedly $100 refund for mistake and promised it would be delivered correctly next time. Advised to use dresser in the mean time. Today new dresser delivered .WRONG DRESSER. Took the used dresser and left me the sealed/boxed dresser.

Called store and of course went off.hung up on. Trying to get dresser delivered AGAIN without having to take day off. 3 DAYS OFF taken to have a dresser delivered that should have been correct the 1st time.

Never ever again will I be back and will be contacting corporateCEO . Anyone that I can reach out to.

One of the recliners does not swivel You people sell garbage As a consumer you have to call get put on hold for an hour and get no help. And then if you do speak to someone they don't speak English. This company is horrible buy somewhere else

Be careful to measure your furniture what you try in the store . It is not what you will receive. Sat in the chair at the store had plenty of room , you could see the measurements online When it came to the house the chair was 2 and a 1/2 inches shorter in depth than advertised and then in the store.

Don't spend your money here or at their sister company Ashley. This company knows nothing about customer service after they get money from you.

Probably the WORST purchasing experience Ive ever been a part of Everything is great until they get your money then ALL disappointing from there.

I purchased a table and chairs for my dining room in July 2021.

The sales associate told us that it was on back order until mid August and we agreed to this. The table was delivered damaged and reported the same day, we were given an option to exchange the table, or have it repaired but the exchange would be back ordered until October now. Still, we decided to take the new table because we didnt want a repair, we wanted what we paid for A brand new undamaged table.

I never heard anything from them in October and contacted this time though a chat style discussion and was again told we could get it repaired but the new table would be delivered January 3rd 2022. Today is January 24th and Ive heard nothing from them, I called the store this time to request a manager there and was told they had no control but would have someone from their customer care representative contact me.

They did call only to tell me now again I could get a repair but would have to wait until late April to receive my table.

Both of the last two times when informed about the repair I asked to get the repair tech out but wanted to stay in line for the exchange in case it wasnt repaired 100% and was told no. This is the worst experience Ive ever had with a company purchasing and will never spend money with them or Ashley again.

Goods were to be delivered on Friday. Delivery called to say they were damaged and new items would be available Saturday. Delivery rescheduled for Monday. Damaged goods were delivered Monday, in a damaged shipping carton. Delivery would not allow me to refuse delivery and instead forced me into City's web-based "customer care" line. This line is anything but customer care as it forces endless delays and unending aggravation onto me, the consumer. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS DISREPUTABLE COMPANY. THEY ARE THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH.
